A Dock
Posted: February 22, 2013 Filed under: Pete's Harbor After | Tags: affordable housing, boats, liveaboards, marinas, pete's harbor, redwood city, san francisco bay area, san mateo county Leave a commentThis morning the harbor crew removed four slips from the end of A Dock, in the Outer Harbor at Pete’s Harbor, on property owned by the State of California. These slips were built improperly years ago, and encroached upon land owned by the State. For many years, the harbor collected rent on them. The State Lands Commission told us today that they did not ask for them to be removed.

Pete’s Harbor Map
Posted: February 4, 2013 Filed under: Pete's Harbor Before | Tags: affordable housing, boats, development, liveaboards, marinas, pete's harbor, redwood city, san francisco bay area, san mateo county Leave a commentFor those of you who may be confused about what part of Pete’s Harbor belongs to the State of California, it’s the docks labeled A, NA, B, and NB. The unlabeled dock to the right of the map, halfway down the page, on Redwood Creek, is on City land.
